 Every year True Colour Events identifies one charity as their beneficiary for their yearly Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
This year the beneficiary was already identified in January but when they heard of Donnae’s plight, there was no way that they could just turn a blind eye. True Colour Events had to help!
Donnae Zorich is a three year old girl whose world has drastically changed since her 4th stage cancer diagnoses earlier this year. She is currently receiving chemotherapy at the Choc unit in Johannesburg and will eventually need a bone marrow transplant.
Approached by a family friend of the Zorich’s, the story of this high spirited little girl grabbed the attention of the True Colour Events operations team. In a bid to raise funds to assist Donnae and her family in defeating the disease to live a healthy and prosperous life, True Colour Events embarked on a fund raising assignment to support the combat of this battle
with the clear indication of Donnae’s desire to live.
An evening filled with entertainment by Denim, Jan Bredenkamp and Meri Ké was arranged at Kopanong Hotel in Benoni and adding to the fun was the hilarious auctioneer Joff Van Reenen, auctioning off various items to add to the final amount.
Granting overwhelming assistance in the fund raising, thanks must go out to the Kopanong Hotel, Bajaj Motorcycles, Southern Sun, Rhythm & Time, True Technical, Wow Factor Design & Décor, Profans, Miker Consulting and every single sponsor of a table or seat. Families like the Zorich’s appreciate the generosity of every single person and True Colour Events can’t wait for a time when Donnae is completely healthy again!
